It took me ten years to realize that "no standing anytime" under the bus sign isn't meant for passengers, but for cars! I felt anxious and unsure where to stand near the bus stop. I found myself pacing back and forth, unsure of the proper distance: not too close to the bus stop, but close enough for the bus driver to see me waiting.
